That's the way the Cookie Street crumbles
[Memories from Magic World: day 18]

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.

This is a very sad story. Waa - waa - waa.

You see Cookie Street in Magic World is all cracked up. WAA - WAA!

It's all broken. Sniffle - sniffle - sniffle.

And all the chocolate chips in it are melted. And they are all gushy and squishy, and if your feet go into them they go squish - squash - squish.

It's disgusting…

AND THEN

"Don't worry, dear. I'm going to fix Cookie Street with our new cookies from the supermarket."

AND THEN

Okay… how come it's not fixed yet? Fix it now! Fix it now! Fix it now!

AND THEN

"Okay, and then everybody broke into song. Du du du du du. Du du du du du. Everybody dance now."

AND THEN

No, no, no, no dancing. You can't dance here. There's a problem. If you dance on this crumbled Cookie Street, with all the melted chocolate chips, then everyone will get very hurt and messy.

AND THEN

"Sweetie, it's done."

AND THEN

Yeah, I'm going to eat all the cookies on Cookie Street. Gobble - gobble - gobble.

AND THEN

"What are you doing with all those cookies? You're going to get sick."

AND THEN

Oh, I don't feel so good. I think I'm going to…

Have fun,

The greatest kids' movie (for my grammy)
The Fruit Movie of DOOM!

"We want to see, movies, movies.
We want to see, movies, movies."
That is what the movie says.

The movie is alive…
everyone runs away.

But it is a princess movie,
ahhh, they sit down again.

But then it's a monster movie,
aaaagggghhh, they all run away again.

But then it is a fresh fruit story movie,
mmmm, yummy……

"Um," says my daddy.
"This is a very confusing movie.
I have no idea what is going on.
So, I think we should take two.
And action.
The Fruit Movie of DOOM!"

I am the Fruit Movie of DOOM!

And I am it's Grammy.
I'm very old and I have almost no teeth.
That's why I sound a little cuckoo.

Have fun,
– Josie (and the dad)

Day 2: Under the sea
(a children's guide book to time travel)

My dad just gave me a time machine …

"No I didn't, it's still mine."

… as big as this house …

'No it's not, it's just a little box."

… but I can't find any pictures …

"What about this one?"

… so I'm drawing one myself …

"Why can't I draw too?"

… of me swimming in the water …

"Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool."

… of me visiting the fish …

"When days are hot."

… but then there's a shark …

"When days are cold and days are cold."

… and the shark goes right through me ….

"Excuse me, Josie, I love the story, but is this all in the picture?"

Yes.

"But where's the time machine? And what are you going to do with the picture?"

Here's the time machine, and well I put the pictures in it of course, and then I travel down to the fish …

"In the swimming pool. When days are hot and days are cold."

… but now I can't find my time machine when it's time to come home. So I'm trapped.

"Maybe you'll get eaten by…."

Have fun,
– Josie (and the daddy)

Lying King was on Splash Mountain
but can't do anything naughty because he's Happy
and not the "Oh I just can't wait to be king,"
Lion King type of happy [Daddy's classic children's story]

Daddy: Pick a noun.

Josie: Baby Monster Lying King was on the ride Splash Mountain.

Daddy: Now pick an adjective.

Josie: Happy… or if it's from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, then it's a noun too.

Daddy: Well considering I have no idea what we're talking about…
I will just start the story.

Once upon a time,
about 10 minutes from now…
actually, in 10 minutes time,
the story will start,
so please wait.

Please keep your arms and legs
inside this story,
and be quite
for the next 10 minutes
and the story will start again.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Shh!

SHH!

Ahh, sorry,
Lying King lied,
he's not going to wait 10 minutes to start telling this story.
No way,
he's going to start right now.

But you know what?
He's already done with the story.
He's not going to write another word
because he is so done with the story.
This story is over.
It's done,
and he Happy,
but he's not Doc, or Sleepy, or Dopey,
just Happy.

Have fun,
– the daddy
