That's the way the Cookie Street crumbles
[Memories from Magic World: day 18]

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.

This is a very sad story. Waa - waa - waa.

You see Cookie Street in Magic World is all cracked up. WAA - WAA!

It's all broken. Sniffle - sniffle - sniffle.

And all the chocolate chips in it are melted. And they are all gushy and squishy, and if your feet go into them they go squish - squash - squish.

It's disgusting…

AND THEN

"Don't worry, dear. I'm going to fix Cookie Street with our new cookies from the supermarket."

AND THEN

Okay… how come it's not fixed yet? Fix it now! Fix it now! Fix it now!

AND THEN

"Okay, and then everybody broke into song. Du du du du du. Du du du du du. Everybody dance now."

AND THEN

No, no, no, no dancing. You can't dance here. There's a problem. If you dance on this crumbled Cookie Street, with all the melted chocolate chips, then everyone will get very hurt and messy.

AND THEN

"Sweetie, it's done."

AND THEN

Yeah, I'm going to eat all the cookies on Cookie Street. Gobble - gobble - gobble.

AND THEN

"What are you doing with all those cookies? You're going to get sick."

AND THEN

Oh, I don't feel so good. I think I'm going to…

Have fun,
– Josie (and the daddy)

How does a banana appeal to an apple?
[a silly knock knock joke]

I am apple standing in the shower …
Knock Knock Knock
… when a banana knocks on my door …
Knock Knock Knock
… but I'm singing, "La la la,"
so the banana knocks again …
Knock Knock Knock
… but I'm still singing, "La la la,"
so the banana knocks again…
Knock Knock Knock
… and again…
Knock Knock Knock
… and again…
Knock Knock Knock
… until I hear him, so I roll to the door …
Knock Knock Knock
… and say, "Whose there?"
To which the banana says,
"Banana!"
So I say, "Banana who?"
"Banana! I'm a banana. Banana! BANANA!
Let me in, I've got lots of appeal."

Have fun,

Ice cream people are sweet
[Memories from Magic World: day 15]

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.

You can't break bones in Magic World
because your body is made of ice cream…
but you can break your popsicle sticks.

You have 11 popsicle sticks,
so if you break 10,
no problem…
but if you break 11,
you die.
Then you become a fish
and swim under the sea.

If you break your popsicle sticks,
you need to avoid sour hospitals,
'cause they can't help.
What you really need
is a sweet doctor
or even sweeter nurse,
'cause only they can fix your popsicle sticks.

Their secret is
cream,
they come over to the Real World
and buy yummy ice cream
to share with you
and repair
your ice cream body.

Have fun,
– Josie

On top of Expedition Everest with Yeti Spaghetti
[the true story of a wild roller coaster ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom]

(sing to tune of On Top of Spaghetti or On Top of Old Smokey songs)

On top of Everest Mountain Roller Coaster
there was lots of snow,
actually it was rain before
but then it froze into snow.

Actually it was ice first,
and that's frozen water
that you add cool colors to
so it turns into snow.

And we were at the top of Everest Mountain Roller Coaster
when it fell down on us
because we were going down screaming
like AH-AH-AH-AAAAAAAAHHHHH!

At in the beginning it was fun
but then we ran into the mountain
and then it made me a little Dopey
and a little Sneezy too.

Expedition Everest
is a runaway-train roller coaster at Disney World
where Himalayan trekkers board refurbished steam trains
on their way to the base camp of Mount Everest.

It's protected by a yeti
who likes it's meatballs
on top of spaghetti
all covered with cheese.

Have fun,

Cuckoo the Candy Princess [Memories from Magic World: day 8]

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.

In Magic World, there was little princess named Cuckoo.

Little Princess Cuckoo loved candy so much
that everyone called her Cuckoo the Candy Princess.
She loved candy so much,
that she ate it everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…
and it was good,
but one day Cuckoo the Candy Princess got tired of candy,
and that was bad,
because that was the only thing they sold in Magic World.

So Cuckoo the Candy Princess went looking for some new food to eat.

She went on a long journey
on a high heel path that led to a shoe,
but Cuckoo the Candy Princess couldn't eat a shoe
so when she walked on,
and and on,
and on,
until she found the other shoe.

Normally Cuckoo the Candy Princess wouldn't pick up path shoes,
but because of what just happened to her friend, Cinderella,
Cuckoo the Candy Princess put on the shoes,
and that's when she discovered, they were magical shoes –
magical shoes which made her toes twinkle –
so she walked to the store.

And now the store was filled with everything BUT candy.

Then Cuckoo the Candy Princess went back home
and then the prince came home after her.
And do you want to hear a little secret?
He was the Pickle Prince,
from the Poor Princess who ate Pickles' stories
and I think that's just a little Cuckoo.

Well anyways, the Prince came home
and they made a vegetable soup,
and they lived happily ever after,
at least, until the soup was gone.
But don't worry,
Cuckoo the Candy Princess still has the magical shoes.
