Lyrics to the delicious "Pillsbury Cookie Dough" song by Paul and Storm

It's four in the morning,
you sneak out of bed
and tiptoe down the stairs.

Go to the kitchen,
leave off the light…
the Pillsbury Cookie Dough is waiting there.

Yeah, you open the door,
take the tube in your hands,
get the scissors down from the shelf.

Peel back the label,
give it a squeeze…
you're gonna eat the whole thing all by yourself.

There's nothing better then a whole darn tube of cookie dough.
Go on and eat it all!

Don't slice it!
Don't cook it!
Don't serve it!
Don't share it!
Go on and eat it all!

Hide the wrapper at the bottom of the trash
and go back to bed filled with shame
and cookie dough
from Pillsbury.

Paul and Storm's music is humorous, satirical, and original.
No subject is sacred to this Lennon/McCartney comedy songwriting team.

  2. Storyteller Cookie Monster added to the children's story:

No, this is my favorite Cookie song…

If moon was cookie me think me would be,
    Happiest monster you ever see.
Me put on a space suit then up through the night,
Me ride in a rocket to go take a bite.

Me take bite from here. Me take bite from there.
And pretty soon, me bite everywhere.
Me eat with both hands. No need fork or spoon.
Me chew it all up until there no moon.

If moon was cookie it wouldn't be fine
Because if me ate it then it wouldn't shine.
Me come to the window and look up at night
But no little moonbeams would give me their light.

So me not like to say it, but it clear to me
It lucky the moon is not a cookie.

  4. Storyteller Stay Puft Marshmallow Man added to the children's story:

  6. Storyteller Christopher's (6) Mom added to the children's story:

This is my recipe for The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies… I learned it from Martha Stewart

    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup packed dark-brown sugar
    2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 large whole egg, plus 1 large egg white
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips (about 2 cups)

Preheat oven to 375°, with racks in upper and lower thirds. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and both sugars on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Add vanilla, whole egg, and egg white. Beat on low speed until well combined, scraping down sides of the bowl as needed, about 1 minute. Add flour mixture in two batches; mix until just combined. Mix in chocolate chips.

Shape 2 heaping tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place about 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake, rotating sheets halfway through, until cookies are golden brown, about 18 minutes. Transfer parchment and cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Cookies can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.

  7. Storyteller Ethan (7) added to the children's story:

Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm Mm M…

  8. Storyteller Ethan's (7) Mom added to the children's story:

Martha Stewart must know here cookies
because I got this recipe for the best
    Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
    from her too.

    4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    1 1/2 cups packed light-brown sugar
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs, plus 2 egg yolks
    3/4 cup heavy cream
    3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
40 ounces (5 packages) cream cheese, room temperature
    1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350°.Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Put butter and brown and granulated sugars into mixer bowl; mix on medium until pale and fluffy. Mix in vanilla, eggs, and yolks. Reduce speed to low. Add flour mixture in 2 batches, alternating with the cream. Stir in chocolate chips.

For each of the 5 layers, drop 1 level cup batter onto center of a baking sheet lined with parchment (keep unbaked dough refrigerated). Using a small offset spatula, spread into an 8-inch circle. Bake until edges are pale golden brown, about 12 minutes. Remove from oven. Use offset spatula to reshape circle. Return to oven; bake until edges are golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes more. Transfer to wire rack; let cool. Can be stored airtight up to 1 day.

Mix cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in clean mixer bowl on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy. Spread onto 4 cookies. Stack cookies, placing unfrosted cookie on top. Refrigerate until frosting is set, at least 20 minutes or up to 4 hours. Serve at room temperature.
