Santa hid my cookies

Santa Claus hid my cookies,
because he was playing hide-and-seek with me,
and I needed to find them.
"Ho ho ho," he said as I looked.
And when I found all of my Christmas cookies,
Santa Claus jumped out and said,
"Ho, ho, here you go."
And then Santa Claus gave me a present.
A book.
A very pretty book.
A very pretty Christmas book.
It was all about Christmas,
and in it I learned,
that because of Christmas
you have to eat Christmas food on Christmas night.
And that's reindeer.
"Ho, ho, ho."
Have fun,
– Josie

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even a Reindeer.

The stockings were hung by the furnace with care,
In hopes that ol' Santa Claus would soon would be there.

Us kids around the world were snuggled snug in our beds,
While visions of sugar-plums, candy canes, and lollypops were drilling holes in our heads.
Me and my frosty the snowman pajamas, and my little elf cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on my snow covered lawn there came such a clatter,
I pop-tarted from the bed to see what was the matter.

After I did that I asked my mum, "Mum can we have some Christmas food because it was Christmas."
So they did. When we were done we went to bed. So Santa can give as presents.

Then i opened the present and i saw a baby reindeer. On its neck was a collar with a card on it. The card said the reindeer's name was Georgia.

I picked up Georgia. She licked me on the face, right on my cheek. Then Georgia jumped out of my hands and walked to the Christmas tree. She pulled out a present. It had a card with a name on it.
Do you whose name it was?
Georgia's.

I sighed. Same old Santa. He's like a dad to me.
Always playing jokes, and embarrassing me a bit.
Why did he have to…. Wait a minute! REINDEER?!
