Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: March, 2006)

A lovely tale

Once upon a time there was a boy named Fart. Fart lived with an ugly princess, and she was so mean that she wouldn't even share her candy.

Have fun,

It's the thinking that gets you in trouble

What happened to the boy who cried poop?

If you eat your ears how can you hear?

What happens after happily ever after?

Have fun,
– Josie

Nasty bathrooms

My Baby Monsters hate store bathrooms because THEY ARE NASTY!

They don't like it when the waste basket is full… THAT IS NASTY.

They don't like it when there is toilet paper on the floor… THAT IS NASTY.

They don't like it when people don't flush… THAT IS NASTY.

They don't like it when there is stuff on the sides of the bowl… THAT IS NASTY.

They don't like it when there is something on the seat… THAT IS NASTY.

Sometimes it's really hard to find a toilet that is NOT NASTY.

When they have to go, I usually take them to the family bathroom… because it's LESS NASTY.

Have fun,
– Josie

Learning to ride the bike

I'm teaching My Baby Monsters to ride their bikes without training wheels.

It's hard for them. And it's very hard for me.

I have to run behind them, and hold on to their bikes, and make sure they don't fall.

Because when they fall they cry, and scream, and make soooooo much noise my head hurts.

And they want band aids.

They would use up all the band aides in the whole house if I let them. Even the boring ones.

Have fun,
– Josie

But it was a Monarch Butterfly

Once upon a time, a butterfly grew (because it was a caterpillar before).

And I said to the butterfly, "I have some good plants you can drink from"

(song, sung however you want)

Butterfly, butterfly, will you drink and eat?
Yes I will. Yes I will.
Morning comes. Day goes.
Good night, goodnight.
Morning comes. Night comes.
Good night, goodnight.

Have fun,
– Josie
