Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: March, 2006)

The dragon flied off, but not with the prince

Once upon a time there lived a dragon with a prince. The dragon flied off, but not with the prince.

The prince saw it – before the dragon flied off – so he hopped on the dragon… and then the dragon exploded, "ROOOAR ROOOAR, RAH", and turned into a canoe.

And the prince was very happy, because the dragon wasn't very nice.

But then the prince fell in the chocolate, in the chocolate factory, and turned into chocolate.

And they lived happily every after.

Have fun,
– Josie

The poor princess who ate pickles

Once upon a time there was a princess who lived high, high, up in the castle. She was very poor, so all she could get at the store was pickles. Pickles, pickles, pickles. No ice cream. No cookies. No candy. No nothing… except pickles!

Well, one day she found some some fish and ice cream and cookies and candy. She was very happy, and that was what she had for one whole week.

When the the prince came home, he was like "Wow, you've been busy."

And they both lived happily after… at least for the week.

Have fun,
– Josie

My Baby Monsters don't have spring break

No vacation for the baby monsters,
I have to teach them all spring break.

They have to go to school every single day,
because they're not good readers.

They guess too much.
too too train for much.

So I read to them every day,
every single solitary day.

They have to learn how to read,
and how to sit still.

And when they don't sit still,
I have to take their chair away!

Then they sit on the floor,
because they lost their chair sitting privilege.

And that's why they My Baby Monsters don't have a spring break,
their too bouncy to sit still.

Have fun,
–Josie

The Spring Break Song

(song, sung however you want)

It's spring break
It's spring break

I'm so happy
I'm so happy

I don't have to go to school
I don't have to go to school

I have no homework
I have no homework

I can play all day
I can play all day

I don't have to listen
I don't have to listen

I can play with my friends
I can play with my firends

I can bike my bike
I can bike my bike

I can eat ice cream
I can eat ice cream

Awch, freeze brain!

Have fun,
– Josie
