Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: April, 2006)

The cookie who flied to Alaska

The cookie was alone,
by itself,
because it was a teenager.
It was 18 and had its drivers license.

One day it flew an airplane.

But,
it crashed in the water
where there was a fire
and everybody died.

The cookie died.

That's the end of the story
because the cookie died.

Have fun,
– Josie

which caused Baby Monster Bubblegum Boy to pop his bubble
(because he was afraid)
and from that day on, Baby Monster Bubblegum Boy

The naked cupcake

Once upon a time,
long long ago,
there lived a cupcake
who was missing its frosting.

He was very sad because he had
no icing,
no sprinkles,
no chocolate chips,
no Oreo cookies,
no Bubble Yum bubble gum,
and no gummy dinosaurs.

But then,
one day its mommy said,
"Come cupcake,
its for for us to go the store to…"

Moving Stories [children's storytelling podcast: 3]

A note from the daddy: It's never easy to move. Fortunately, stories are a great tool for helping children confront their fears. As this is a difficult subject, some of the content in this special episode may be inapropiate for very young children. Therefore, parental discression is advised. Also, sorry in advance for the sound quality of this podcast, this episode was done while we were on the move.

A sad story about a cookie who moved

"The cookie that wanted to move to the moon"
or
"The cookie that moved, but then after it moved, it died"

One day the cookie decided to move because his daddy died
and his mommy was deaf,
and he was deaf too… he couldn't even see.
He was deaf and blind.

So he went on the airplane
and he bumped into a lot of stuff,
but his mother went with him.

And when he got his grandparents house,
you know what happened?
He died.

Have fun,
– Josie

The shopping cart that moved

The shopping cart was very hard, and very tough.
It did not give chances.

If he said he was going to tell on you, he would,
and I am not lying.

You know what?
He went straight to his momma
when the bad guy came
and he said,
"I am gonna eat you."

Errrrrgh

And then he went to his momma and said,
"Momma, momma, call the police
there's a stranger by our house and he's trying to kidnap me."

So the shopping cart and the shopping cart mommy went to the police officer
and they told him to get the bad guy,
and then the bad guy ran away with our couch.

The police man finally caught him,
and the shopping cart and the shopping cart mommy
went away on the airplane
for good sakes.

Have fun,
