Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: March, 2007)
Chew Chew went the train…
It was hungry.
The train was knitting…
– chuga chugg knit knit
– chuga chugg knit knit.
in it's tunnel of a mouth,
– knit one pearl two
– pearl three
– pearl four.
"Woo Woo," went the Woo.
"Woo Woo," went the Woah.
Slow down you horse
the train's got to win the race,
so
blast off
to outer space.
Have fun,
– Josie

Enjoy the lyrics to this rocking nursery rhyme song. Music by Rockosaurus Rex.
Six little ducks that I once knew, Fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones, too.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Down to the river they would go, Wibble, wobble, wibble, wobble, to and fro.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Back from the river they would come
Wibble, wobble, wibble, wobble, ho, hum, hum.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack.
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Into the water they would dive, Over and under the other five.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Home from the river they would go, Wibble wobble, wibble wobble, ho hum hum.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack.
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
Rockosaurus Rex are the prehistoric masters of metal,
so listen to more of their hard rocking nursery rhymes.

Dino Diapers is our new sponsor…
so if you're a dinosaur and you need a new diaper,
look no further than Dino Diapers.
Remember, Dino Diapers takes the stink out of extinct,
so act now before it's too late…
your Jurassic butt will thank you when that big meteor strikes.
And remember, everything goes better with a song,
so here's the story 'bout Minnie the Moocher,
actually, it's the fourth page of our new children's book –
Wild Alphabet Stories (fun tails for kids and other wild animals).
GO TO PAGE 2
to see what stories are in this storytelling podcast
and to add your own words.
Yeah, daddy's story!
Once upon a time
Lying King met a dinosaur,
and Lying King said to the dinosaur,
"I can eat you up.
It's no problem.
I'm the biggest.
I'm the baddest.
I'm the strongest.
I'm the fastest.
And I will…"
CHOMP!
went the the dinosaur
as it ate Lying King.
No daddy, that's too short a story. It should be Lying King eats a dinosaur!
Okay, once upon a time Lying King ate a dinosaur… CHOMP!
No, no, no…. that's a too short story too.
That's correct. That's two short stories.
Want more?
Then make it the longest story in the world
by adding
and adding
and adding
and adding
and adding
on to it.
Have fun,
– The Daddy
Well, a long, long, long, long, long time ago
people were not born yet,
but My Baby Monsters were alive and having fun.
They were around about the time as the dinosaurs.
Actually, the dinosaurs loved My Baby Monsters,
and they never, not ever, not even once
would eat them
because
My Baby Monsters threw the best,
the best,
the best birthday parties for dinosaurs.
AND THEN
The baby monsters made 2 cakes.
One for them and one for the dinosaurs.
Yum! Yum!
AND THEN
They sang a song,
and the song went like this.
AND THEN
Roar-roar roar-roar roo rouu
AND THEN
Roar-roar roar-roar roo rouu
AND THEN
Roar-roar roar-roar rear roar-roar
AND THEN
Roar-roar roar-roar roo rouu.
And everything was wonderful,
And all the dinosaurs were happy.
until one day,
something terrible happened.
AND THEN
Have fun,
– Josie (and the dad)
You are the expert,
you know everything about dinosaurs,
so please answer the question…
remember, you know everything,
so there are no wrong answers here.
.
Mr. Dinosaur, why are you so x-stinky?
Roar!
Hmm… don't like that question. Okay… so where do you hide your eggs so a thief can't get them?
ROAR!
I don't understand you. What are you trying to say?
ROAR! ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!
What?
ROOOOOOAR!!! CHOMP
.
Mrs. Paleontologist, what's the best thing about finding a new dinosaur bone?
Well, there are a lot of them down in the ground, so we have to shovel them up. You can see all of them down there. All of the bones from the dinosaurs.
We want to try to make some more dinosaurs, 'cause then the people can die and then there can be more dinosaurs.
No wait, you don't understand, the people don't become dinosaurs when they die… they become food.
CHOMP!
Have fun,
– Josie (and the dad)

Hello Master Lorrie.
Ulla, why aren't you here with the money? Did you blow up the bank?
Master Lorrie, I made a terrible mistake.
So tell me about it in a song.
Da da da… I am dancing.
Da da da… I am dancing.
Da da da… I am dancing
Tango, ta-ta-ta-tago.
Yes, Ulla dance again.
Have fun,
– Josie
Dancing defined: Everybody dance now… da da da da da… Everybody dance now…. move… when you move your body rhythmically… you are dancing.
