Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: April, 2007)
I'm writing a new children's book about wild animals and wanted to share the art coloring pages I'm using to make it. The book is called Wild Alphabet Stories… fun tails for children and other wild animals.
F is for FISH, as in
You were my Sushi, so extra juicy,
but now the oceans are truly blue.
'cause the ships kept fishing, and fishing, and overfishing,
and now it's all over for me and you.
I love Sushi and would eat it everyday if I could. Did you know that the world's largest sushi roll was 3,279 feet (1 kilometer) long? I don't think I could eat that much Sushi, but it would be fun to try. So what happens next? It's your story.

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.
A baby was just born in Magic World,
but when it was born,
it got sick.
It had no choice.
The baby couldn't have the kind of food
its magical mommy had,
so on its way out
it got allergies.
So the Magic World mommy made it oatmeal…
babies in non-magic worlds can't eat oatmeal,
but babies in Magic World can,
but only if they've just been born.
If they are 1 they can't,
but if they are 0 they can,
also if they're 2 they can,
and all the way up
till they die,
they can eat oatmeal.
Have fun,
– Josie

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.
In Magic World, I saw Jasmin's father,
so I asked him,
"What are you doing here?"
He said,
"I am not Jasmin's daddy.
I'm her uncle,
and I'm here to get her
because she ran away from home."
Then an elephant came.
Now I know why my magical mommy and daddy
had to send me to the real world.
It's because an elephant was destroying everyone in Magic World.
The elephant didn't mean to.
He was just walking
but he was all the way up to the sky
so it couldn't help crushing us.
Have fun,

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.
You can't go back. It's destroyed.
That's why I left.
I lived there before I was born.
My real mommy and daddy
put me in my new mommy's tummy
so I could come here.
They had to go somewhere,
but I was allergic to airplanes.

Once upon a time there was a very naughty book
who liked to fall on girl's legs and make them cry.
Well, one day, it fell on the wrong little girl's leg.
This little girl was called Page, and her big brother was Arla
(which is also the name of a Danish and Swedish company
that makes milk).
Arla really liked that milk, so he always asked his mommy
if he could drink Arla,
to which they said,
"You want to drink yourself?"
But this story is not about Arla, or milk,
it's about a very naughty book
who liked to fall on girl's legs and make them cry,
and how one day it fell on the wrong girl's leg.
And that girl was Page,
because she had a taste for words.
She loved them so much ate them up.
But this is not the end of the story,
because every time Page bit the heads off in this naughty book,
and ate a new page,
she became another character in the book,
and had to say what they said,
and do what they did in the book.
Have fun,
– Josie
Two boys were walking along
when the second boy lost a tooth,
the first boy didn't because had pizza in his mouth.
Those two kids were very special,
they were golden.
There was actually gold inside of them!
100s and 100s of kroners worth.
So then a little girl or a little boy (you decide)
kicked them both in the head
and all their teeth fell out.
Ka-ching!
Then she or he went
la la la la la
all the way to the bank.
She would have taken the pizza too,
but that was already eaten.
Have fun,
– Josie
