Bedtime Stories (Storytelling Library: August, 2007)
A lot of you have asked for this song, so here it is, Bears. It's great for Florida Black Bears, Kodiak Bears from Alaska, and Baloo from The Jungle Book.
.
|
|
B is for Bears,
as in,
I barely got out of there
with my life.
|
|
. It's not Disney's Bear Necesities, but the second page and letter of our Wild Alphabet Stories (fun tails for kids and other wild animals) children's book.

Nothing to say
cause I am sick.
In my mouth
I throw up.
Not having fun,
– Josie
Daddy: Pick a noun.
Josie: Baby Monster Lying King was on the ride Splash Mountain.
Daddy: Now pick an adjective.
Josie: Happy… or if it's from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, then it's a noun too.
Daddy: Well considering I have no idea what we're talking about…
I will just start the story.
Once upon a time,
about 10 minutes from now…
actually, in 10 minutes time,
the story will start,
so please wait.
Please keep your arms and legs
inside this story,
and be quite
for the next 10 minutes
and the story will start again.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Shh!
SHH!
Ahh, sorry,
Lying King lied,
he's not going to wait 10 minutes to start telling this story.
No way,
he's going to start right now.
But you know what?
He's already done with the story.
He's not going to write another word
because he is so done with the story.
This story is over.
It's done,
and he Happy,
but he's not Doc, or Sleepy, or Dopey,
just Happy.
Have fun,
– the daddy

The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.
There are more lollipops then YOU could ever want
on the Kissing Path,
and they are free for the picking
because no one ever takes more than they need,
except ONE day,
I mean one night,
Bad Guys came to the Kissing Path and stole ALL the candy.
Fortunately, there was a video camera on the Kissing Path,
so the police saw everything
even though they were sleeping,
because Magic World police have eyes on the backs of their heads,
eyes that never close
so the Magic World police can sleep with their back eyes facing the video camera,
and when those back eyes blink
it means that they have seen something bad,
and then police wake up.
And even though the police were far away from the Kissing Path,
they got there quickly, because they walked through the secret wall
that opens up to a shortcut that takes you anywhere you want
when you say the magic made up word, "Wadapadapa."
So now the Bad Guys are in jail,
and all the candy is back on the Lollipop Trees
because the police rehung it right away.
And the Bad Guys are unhappy and sad
because jail is so bad
and now they only get ONE piece of candy a day,
and ALL the salad they can eat…
oh yeah, they also get mashed potatoes, so it's not all that bad.
Have fun,
– Josie
The true story of a little girl's imaginary world.
In Magic World there is a Kissing Path,
and on the Kissing Path there are lots of trees,
lots of trees with more lollipops than YOU can imagine,
lollipops of every shape, size, color, and flavor.
My favorite is Orange-Strawberry-Apple.
It's a green, orange, red lollipop with two heads,
one balloon and one elephant,
with a little baby gorilla, circle house body,
and it's yummy,
but I can't get that lollipop in the real world,
so in the real world, my favorite lollipop flavor is pink.
Have fun,
– Josie
