nce upon a summer day the great bears planned an outing to the metropolis of Little Rock to write about the sites they were to see there.
The bears gathered at the coffee shop for further instructions and dispersed. Bears in groups took off in all directions. There were bears in the Cox Center, museum, Clinton library, Game and Fish and too many other places to mention. There was story told that one little bear upon her journey to the city, locked herself out of the van and had to be recued by a tall, dark, bald man with tattoos up and down his body. She was sure he could get her out of the mess and sure enough he did. Bears continued throughout the day, shouting out to bears in passing," I am a writer!" Bears munched on sandwiches, sushi, hamburgers, greek food and other delicatables at their leisure. One little bear shared that she has learned that there are rules for eating, such as, no drinking out of your straw in public!
As the sunshine beaded down on the concrete, and radiated through our sweaty fur, it was time to retreat to the darkened underground den for a time of shared laughter, great stories and refreshments. Some of the bears would partake in drinks of different odors and colors.
As the bears gathered around in a circular shape , the sharing of great writers began.
There were so many awe-inspiring stories, with the lack of space and time, only a few will be shard. Please don't hesitate to ask these bears about their stories.
To start the storytelling, a little bear with soft auburn fur by the name of Sarah shared her qauint poem about The Missing T- Where oh where must you be little T? Then there was the story by one of the fearless leaders, Mike about his protest of writing within lines. He went on to say, "I am in charge of my own______." Another one of the great bears with dark hair and dimples, Beth discovered that humans are odd creatures, as she observed a shaky-handed woman and wondered about her story, her life. Another bear, Jerry shared of his tribute to the bears of the project and his greatfulness to his writing partners, Anne and Laurie. Lynn shared her story from her laptop of the life she endured as the child of an older parent. She mentioned that she celebrated when she had passed the prime old age , child bearing age of 43. The Great Writing bears continued to share, making sure that each bear received a chance to contribute to the storytelling venture.
As the last little bear was aksed about sharing once more, she replied, " It is now 3:29". The bears agreed that it was time to bring this day to a close and so it ws.
The bears dispersed, going in diffreent directions, They vowed to meet together Monday morning at 8:30.
That was the end of an enjoyable writing marathon ,n never to be fogotten because of the lasting memories~!

Then, it was winter and the bears went to sleep, and the little birds came out to play and sing. The rabbits turned white, and the beavers snuggled in their dens, munching on sweet twigs they stored under the ice and waiting for spring, for melting icicles and rushing water, and blue skies.
